Episode 13: Abseiling down a glacier at 3000 metres

Don’t watch if you don’t like heights! After an adventurous night on the glacier students abseil or rappel from a massive cliff at the glacier in Switzerland, 3.000 meters above sea level!
There are hundreds of places to go rock climbing and abseil in Switzerland, and this spot definitely had the most amazing views!
Over the last week, these students have been exposed to heights while canyoning, abseiling, and at the ropes park, but this time they were met with an even greater challenge while abseiling / rappelling from a massive cliff! Friendships and trust were once again put to the test, and everyone succeeded with great smiles and many students overcame their fear of heights under guidance of the senior trainers of the Swiss Leadership Camp and the Swiss mountain guides.
Campers had the chance to take what they had learned on their first rock climbing session in Leysin and advance their skills at Glacier 3000 nearby Gstaad. Because camp is two weeks long, there are so many opportunities to not only learn beginner skills, but improve and apply what has been learned! Climbing involves not only strength, but also technical skill, and it’s definitely evident that lots of campers remembered how to make good moves!
