Episode 11: World Archery Centre Switzerland
Campers are challenged by an olympic gold medalist archery at the World Archery Centre in Lausanne, Switzerland to hit each other’s balloons and win! A proper stance, strong mental concentration and determination is not only important in archery, but also in life!
While students at Swiss Leadership Camp learn many important concepts during the leadership sessions, many important life lessons are also learned throughout the various activities. Today we meet Vanjiru, who has come to camp from Kenya. Every single camper gets to try an activity or game at camp which they’ve never done before, and for Vanjiru that was archery!
This is also super exciting because Vanjiru along with the other campers were instructed not only by an archery professional, but also an olympic gold medalist! Having a proper stance, strong mental concentration and determination is, as the students found out, not only important in archery, but also in life!
After a big day of golf and archery, the campers head back to College Champittet for a fun evening of dancing. Keep an eye out for the next video to see who’s got some moves!
