Episode 6: Glacier Expedition
Swiss Leadership Camp students are off on their overnight expedition on Glacier 3000! For many of the students who have never even touched snow before, this is surely an exciting experience. By now, the students have become very close friends. Their high, positive energy is definitely seen while sharing magical experiences such as walking roped up on a glacier. Students are also brave enough to cross a suspension bridge between two peaks! Everyone once again demonstrates their growing leadership skills by being encouraging and supportive of each other.
Students are taking high interest in their activities and they are often getting into interesting conversations with one of the camp trainers and the mountain guides. Everyone is learning not only on leadership sessions, but also during fun chats while on activities. The Swiss Mountain Guides tell cool stories of their experiences all over the world.
Snowball fights, roasted marshmallows, sledding, storytelling….these are all great ingredients for a perfect night in a mountain hut! The comforts of the Collège Champittet campus were left behind, but the fun did not stop!
